I often cook cabbage with onions and bacon similar to the way you describe, but was always stuck when I had to use cabbage for vegetarians, because in my opinion, the bacon (even just a tiny bit) gives the cabbage a wonderful taste.  I&#039;m looking forward to trying the cabbage with milk and potatoes instead and making colcannon.</description>
